For Triggering a Breakthrough We Need

1. Practical and technical brilliance.

2. Openness towards others.

3. Tuning in to the upscale register.

My lecturing and seminar work focuses on creating a platform for (2) and (3). I do not address the professional, technical or business-specific aspects of progress. The focus is on creating a context where people would feel inclined to open up to one another and to their own thoughts from a more optimistic, more uplifting, more life-serious register.

I do not advice people to become better better managers or better husbands, better administrators or achievers, better humble servants of the customer, better cost controllers, or better human beings. Instead, it's more about making people aware of the potential that is already there, to a quantum leap degree.

In many organisations that I have had the priviledge to serve, astonishing breakthroughs have taken place. Of course not as a result of E. Saarinen's seminar brilliance only, because quantum leaps require all factors (1)-(3) combined with determination and hard work. But most organisations skip factors (2)-(3) where my contribution is aimed at.

All that is needed in order to trigger the astonishing is in many cases one seminar.
