Lectures
Tender and Dynamic Movement of Thought
Lectures are my main working format. The lectures constitute a platform of thought for the participants. While apparently one-sided, my lectures are highly active or intra-active for all concerned, with intensive silent dialogue taking place. The lectures are designed to create a highly stimulating, inspiring, mentally uplifting and open atmosphere which creates movement of thought and intensifies tender and dynamic processes within and amongst the participants. Fresh perspectives and alternative modes of thought as well as open, positive engagement with others suggest themselves in the dimension of internal reflection, often resulting in considerable, sometimes enormous breakhroughs for the participants.
My themes are inspirational and philosophical, and deal with fundamental aspects of life and work, leadership, self mastery, interaction, human energy, relationships, personal integrity, values, and balance of life. The approach is philosophical in the sense of being reflective and visionary, rather than fact-, problem-solving- or quick-fix -oriented. At the same time the approach is experience-intensive, personal-impact-seeking and concrete. The overall air is one of optimism and faith in life.
My lecture mode is charged with emotional and personal-relevance seeking aspects, avoiding at the same being pushy or provocational. This is critical for the emergence of insights, personal commitments and internal movement of thoughts of lasting value. The point is to connect the intellectual with the the emotional, the subjective with the objective, the concrete with the abstract, and the participant with her innermost aspirations and choices.
Philosophy in Action
I describe my lecturing as "Performative Philosophy", "Philosophy in Action" and "Live Philosophy".
For a more theoretical description of my approach, see the article Philosophical Lecturing as a Philosophical Practice
In recent years a key notion to back my efforts is "Systems Intelligence", a theme we have developed with Prof. Raimo P. Hämäläinen and associates at Helsinki University of Technology.

In
order to change our lifes, we have to change our thinking. But we are
not very experienced to work with our thinking, particularly when it
comes to challenging the mental models within us that direct our
attitudes, actions and responses. I try to create a situation where the
participant could identify her mental models, core values and beliefs
and have a chance to reflect upon these fundamentals.
The emphasis is on the internal wisdom and hidden insights of the participants, and the shared humanity of us all. My lectures aim at stimulating an uplift from within, in a tender, highly delicate and yet dynamic and often humorous atmosphere.
Primary objective of the lecture:
Human flourishment. Happiness. Balanced and meaningful life. Increased Creativity. More positive outloook on life and on people.
Secondary objective of the lecture:
