"Just because we're at work doesn't mean that we're not human". An internet wizard has written a strong and beautiful defence of caring, touching, indeed love itself, as core of work and business. The point in "the Lovecat Way" is to articulate the productive dimensions of the soft aspects of life, the fundamental human foundation in our being, and relate those to business. Personally I found this book extremely useful as a powerful articulation and vindication of some the intuitions and convictions I have had since starting philosophy-of-the-everyday and my style of philosophy for managers. Sanders' book makes me even convinced of the necessity to think in human terms in the context of business. I see more clearly now some of the radical aspect of such an apporach. -- And Chapter Two in the book, huh, forceful argumentation in defence of reading books, yes: books. And this by a fast-moving guy who (at the time of writing the book) worked as the Chief Solutions Officer at Yahuu!. Beautiful. Order this book immediately, it is pleasant to read and will affect your thinking.
